The ~tendons~ and ~ligaments~ of the |scapula| are instrumental in regulating the sholder joint, the |clavicle|, and the |scapula|, preventing dislocation and allowing muscles to attach to their structures to enable movement. The main connective tissue structures are the |capsular ligaments| of the |shoulder joint|, the coracoacromial ~ligament~, and the two ~tendons~ which connect the |supraspinatus| and the |subscapularis| muscles to eminences of the pectoral girdle.
